Internal Jugular Phlebectasia Found in a Patient with Stroke
뇌졸중 환자에서 발견된 속목정맥 확장증
Abstract
Internal Jugular phlebectasia (IJP) is an isolated saccular or fusiform dilation of internal jugular vein that is a rare congenital variation. We describe a case of a 72-year-old woman who presented with a painless pulsatile mass in the neck. Color Doppler ultrasound image clearly depicted enlarged right internal jugular vein anterior to the right internal carotid artery.
